Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using GLP-1 Coach, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia and the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Slovenia.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use GLP-1 Coach. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The service is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

3. Not a medical service — AI disclosure

GLP-1 Coach uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to generate personalised coaching suggestions based on your check-in data. This is not medical advice.

• The AI coaching feature does not diagnose medical conditions.
• The AI coaching feature does not prescribe or recommend dosage changes to any medication.
• You are not interacting with a licensed physician, nurse, dietitian, or any other healthcare professional.
• AI-generated suggestions are based on patterns in self-reported data and general wellness principles, not individual clinical assessment.
• Always consult your prescribing physician before making any changes to your medication, diet, or exercise regimen.

In accordance with EU AI Act Article 50, GLP-1 Coach discloses the use of artificial intelligence clearly within the application. You will be required to acknowledge this disclosure before accessing AI-generated content.

4. Subscription and billing

GLP-1 Coach offers the following subscription plans:

• Coach plan: $9 per month
• Pro plan: $19 per month
• Free trial: 7 days free access included with new accounts

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the card on file each month until you cancel.

Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to local taxes (including EU VAT) where applicable. The final price including any applicable VAT will be shown before you confirm payment.

5. Cancellation policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, and you retain access until the period ends.

To cancel: go to account settings in the app, or email us at hello@glp1coach.app from your registered email address.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first paid charge if you are unsatisfied. After 7 days, charges are non-refundable. To request a refund, email support within the 7-day window.

6. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@glp1coach.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or are used in ways that harm other users or the service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to provide medical advice to others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Share your account credentials with others
• Submit false or misleading data with the intent to manipulate AI outputs for harmful purposes

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GLP-1 Coach and its operator are not liable for:

• Any health outcome resulting from following AI-generated coaching suggestions
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service
• Service interruptions, data loss, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content

Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under EU consumer law.

9. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the data you enter into GLP-1 Coach. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process that data to provide the service (including sending it to Anthropic's API for AI coaching responses).

The GLP-1 Coach name, design, and code are our intellectual property.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
